United Nations Joint Medical Service (UNJMS) Newsletter First Edition - December 2010

The United Nations Joint Medical Service (UNJMS) is a Level 1 Clinic which has been fully operational since April 2010 following the merger of UN Mission Clinic and the UNCT Dispensary. The facility provides primary and emergency care to all UN Staff, both National and International and their recognized dependants. To achieve the required UN and Conventional medical standards, UNJMS is guided by polices and guidelines of an advisory board known as, The Medical Advisory Board (MAB). MAB is chaired by the WHO Country Representative with representation from the senior staff of UNIPSIL Mission Support and UN Agencies. The Medical Advisory Board Chairperson reports directly to the Executive Representative of the Secretary General (ERSG) in Sierra Leone.
